Veramos has two phases like all bosses, but goes through a visual change and gets a completely different move. In either phase, without 1k magic armor or more, you will not survive most of his attacks. Ranged characters have an advantage in this fight.
Phase One[ | ]
Veromos will only attack from the left or right side of the arena. He only has one attack that launches him in the air. .
- Throw Sickle: This attack launches magical sickles horizontally across the room from the wall Veramos is currently closest to. This attack lasts a long time and is extremely difficult to dodge. Without magic armor, this attack will 1 shot all characters.
- Tip: This is a move to i-frame through with skills
- Demoniac Blitz: Veromos thrusts himself diagonally up, dropping energy spheres on the ground. He dashing diagonally back to his original place, also dropping more spheres. He creates more energy spheres closest to where he will stop. There will be gaps in the middle of the arena just wide enough to be safely.
- Tip: You can i-frame into the spheres to destroy them and give you space to attack him when he lands. You can also avoid the attack completely by maneuvering in the center of the arena of wall jumping from the side his starts the attack.
- Demoniac Rush: Similar to the blitz, but instead Veromos dashing across the ground once. This skill comes out faster than the blitz.
- Tip: You can jump over this attack, but you can't counter it.
- Corrupted Beam: Veromos shoots a beam across the ground. It is very easy to dodge.
- Tip: Wall jump near him to dodge the attack. Characters can get free basic attacks on him here.
- Sorcerer Pillar: Veromos summons beams of light that shoot from the ground and linger for a few seconds. They are spaced evenly to allow players a safe place to hide. Veramos always does this skill either during another skill or will do another skill during this skill. In either case, this makes dodging very challenging.
- Tip: Depending on the attack Veromos is doing, this is a good time to i-frame through his skill (the sickles or his demoniac attacks) or wait/heal.
- Summon Corrupted Rain: Veromos pauses to summon a deadly rain that covers the entire arena. The only way to dodge it is to enter the holy safe zone that will appear randomly in the arena.
- Tip: Sometimes the safe spot is close to Veromos allowing you get free attacks. Similarly, the safe zone makes you immune to all damage from him. This can be useful if this attack is paired with another he launches (Sorcerer Pillar)
Defeating Veromos' first life bar makes him transform into his final form.
Tip (placeholder): Veromos provides many openings to safely attack. The 2nd phase is much easier than the first.
